Brushes

Each person who paints the faces with acrylics or fabric paints, has brushes that they use to accomplish the finished face.  I use three types of brushes to paint my doll's face.  Primarily I use a round brush to paint in the whites of the eyes and the lips. I use my liner brush to draw in the iris of the eye, my round brush to fill in the iris, and the liner again with a darker color paint to create the (  ) around the iris.  I then use the liner to add the pupil and the white highlight.  I then line the eye as explained in the pages on the face painting to outline the eye and create the eyebrow.   I use a liner brush to paint in the outline of the lips.  Then I use the round brush to paint in the lips.  I use the round brush to create the eyelid.  Then I use the scrubber brush to add blush to the cheeks.
